Oral Hygiene
IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT JUST WHITING YOUR TEETH..
Brushing teeth
Brushing your teeth twice a day. That's a must. Take your time and brush each tooth in all directions. Experts say to brush at least for 2 whole minutes. Using an electric brush is very effective as it reaches most parts of your tooth without you having to do the work. Manually brushing your teeth means it will take longer but I find you can really feel a differnce doing it the old fashion way.
Floss
Now flossing is another must. This way you are taking out all left over food bits in between each teeth which you cant reach with your brush. You can get string style floss which you use both hands to floss with. Make sure you do it gently and go with thw direction of tour teeth to avoid cutting gums or bleeding. You can even get floss that are ready made on stick which you only need to use one hand. I prefer using string floss and internal dental brush. These are really small brush which is the size of you finger on a wire that gets right in between each teeth. The brushe allows you to brush the sides of your tooth as well as removing food.
Tongue Cleaner
Once brushing your teeth its really good to use a tongue cleaner to clean your tongue whilst doing your oral clean. This way it helps freshan breath and remove all food bacteria off your tongue.
Mouth wash
To finish off your oral hygiene, use mouth wash to really give your mouth that final clean all around including your gums and mouth walls.
Make sure you do regular dental checks. This will help you identify any dental issues you may have (If any). If always hated the dentist since I was a little girl. Now that I have grown out of fear I push myself to go every 6 months for a general clean and check up.
This should be added to any daily regime and routine you have.
Smile with confidence :)
